ECU Text Banking
Use texting to stay informed and in control of your accounts. Easily text anytime to see an account balance or to transfer funds. You can also set up eAlerts to automatically receive text messages regarding account balances, ACH transactions, or loan payments that are due.
Text Banking makes it easy to access account balances and transactions, right on your mobile phone. It’s the fastest way to get your balances—anytime, anywhere. Just text a short command to 454545, and you will quickly receive the information you want. Here are some of the requests you can make with Text Banking:
- BAL—Current and available balances for a primary account you designate
- LAST—The last five transactions in your primary account
- BAL ALL—Current balances for all the accounts you have with us
- Click here for more commands.
Also, you can receive a low balance alert if your balance drops below a threshold that you set. In addition, you are able to transfer funds via text message and you can add a second phone number.
Not only is Text Banking fast and free*, but it is also secure. You must first log into our secure internet banking site and have your phone in your possession to complete enrollment. We text an activation code to your phone, and you must enter that code into ECU’s eBranch to activate Text Banking. Also, we never send confidential information such as user IDs, passwords, or complete account numbers via Text Banking.
To get started with Text Banking, log into eBranch and look for the Mobile Banking & Alerts button to activate your phone. Questions? Head over to our FAQ page.
